CHARLES "GIBBY" DEYARMON, JR.,

Age 82, of Magnolia, passed away Jan. 4, 2016.  Born in Canton, a son of the late Charles and Lucille (Snyder) DeYarmon, he had been a resident of Magnolia most of his life. Gibby was a 1952 graduate of McKinley High School, served with the U.S. Army and was a longtime employee of Smith Nursery, where he retired as a Master Farmer.  Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia DeYarmon, on Feb. 2, 2010, and his brother, George "Rick" DeYarmon.  Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Darby and Beth DeYarmon; two sisters, Joy DeYarmon and Delyte DeYarmon DeLong; and two grandchildren and four great grandchildren, Darby DeYarmon, Jr., and his wife Amy, and their children, Lucas, Matthew, and Kaleigh, and Greg DeYarmon, and his wife Emily, and their daughter, Georgia.  A Memorial Service will be held Mon. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Steven M.
