CHARLES WILBUR BULLOCK,
Age 76, of Dover, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Oct. 24, 2014 after battling and defeating many physical hardships. Born in Rose Twp., Carroll Co., OH, a son of the late Edward and Jessie (Henderson) Bullock, he had been a resident of Dover since 2000, previously residing in Richville about 40 years. Charles was a 1956 graduate of Carrollton High School and retired in 1994 from the Timken Co. after 34 years service where he was a machinist. He was a member and steward of Golden Lodge #1123 United Steelworkers of America, and served in the U.S. Army as PFC in Germany 1958-59. In 1974, Charles managed a Class H Baseball Team from Richville, the Werstler Plumbing Team, to the State Championship, and his son played on the team. Charlie enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events, woodworking, and gardening. Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, James, Eugene and Jack Bullock, Marguerite Nance and Ellen Davidson. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Sally (Trachsel) Bullock, daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Bullock and Paul Nestvold of Stow; daughter, Nancy Bullock, of Cuyahoga Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Lisa (Brown) Bullock, of North Canton; sister Isabelle Baad of North Industry; sister-in-law Jeanne Bullock, of NC; four grandchildren, Jordan Adlesic and Charlie, Reid, and Reece Bullock. Services will be conducted Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home, 1803 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton followed by interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call Tues. Oct. 28 from 6-8 p.m. and Wed. Oct. 29 from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Donations in his name can be made to RBSA Richville Baseball Softball Association, P.O. Box 1211 Massillon, OH 44648.
