Cecil A. Barr

Age 83, of Magnolia, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  He was born November 7, 1940 in New Matamoras, OH, a son of the late Denver and Bessie (Riggenbach) (Harasimik) Barr, and had been a resident of the Canton and Magnolia area since 1948.  Cecil retired in 1994 from The Timken Co., after 35 years' service, where he was a crane operator.  He loved sports, especially the Indians, Browns, and Ohio State, and enjoyed old cars.

Cecil is survived by his children, Michael Barr, and Robin (Michael) Poorman, and four grandchildren, Brandon Cope, Caleb, Michelle, and Crystal Barr; and one brother, William (Madelyn) Barr.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 12 Noon in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville with his son-in-law Michael Poorman officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
