Carole J. Herbert

Age 84, of Canton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023.  She was born June 14, 1939 in Alliance, OH, a daughter of the late Spurgeon and Grace (Denslow) Feiock, and had resided in the Canton area most of her life.  Carole was a 1957 graduate of East Canton High School.  She had been a secretary for 20 years at Earl H. Bailey Ministries.  Carole was a member of the Sanctuary Church of God in East Canton, where she was Counseling Pastor.  She had volunteered as a Bible teacher at the Residential Treatment Center on Faircrest St. SW for over 30 years, and had been Peer Counselor for 20 years at the Pregnancy Support Center in Canton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard J. Herbert, on Jan. 16, 2023, one sister and five brothers, Diane Stillion, Mahlon, Edward, Virgil, Phillip, and Gary Feiock, and a son-in-law, Fred Carrico.  Carole is survived by three daughters and one son, Tammy Carrico, Melissa (Joseph) Collier, Joy Dawn (Joseph) Hester, and Richard A. Herbert; three brothers, Kenneth (Phyllis) Feiock, Ronald Feiock, and Jerry Feiock; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wed., Jan. 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary Church of God with Pastor Steve Stewart officiating.  Friends may call Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at the church.  Interment will be in Melscheimer Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
