CAROL J. MILLER-ROBERTS,

Age 86, of Goodyear, AZ, passed away Sun., Jan. 16, 2022.  She was born June 25, 1935, in Canton, a daughter of the late Elden and Edna (Kurzen) Close.  Carol was a 1935 graduate of McKinley High School and retired in 1985 from Alliance City Schools after 24 years service where she taught 3rd grade at South Lincoln Elementary School.  Previously she taught six years for Canton City Schools at the former Stark Elementary School.  Carol was a member of Church of the Lakes United Methodist, Canton College Club, Kappa Delta and the McKinley Eagles.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Miller, in 1992.  Survived by her son, Robert Henke.  According to her wishes, following cremation, there will be no services.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carol's memory may be made to the Stark County District Library for books in her name.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
