Carl E. Nesselrode

Age 74, of Navarre, passed away Sat., Jan. 14, 2023.  He was born July 21, 1948 in Sherman, WV, a son of Donald and Winifred (Speed) Nesselrode, and had been a resident of the Canton area most of his life.  Carl was a 1965 graduate of Perry High School.  He was retired from Resources Advising the Developmental Disabilities as a Youth Advisor.  Carl enjoyed playing pool and belonged to several pool leagues, including Tommy B's in Massillon.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Carl Nesselrode III.  Carl is survived by his wife, Beverly L. Nesselrode, his companion for 23 years;  two daughters, Jodi (Floyd) Holliday and Trina (Scott) Noble, two sons, Carl (Susan) Nesselrode, Jr., and Zachary (Calli) Nesselrode; eight grandchildren, Carl Jr.'s, Kelsey, Jodi's, Sara (Jeffrey) Knotts, Kaylee, and Ryann, Trina's, Celeste and Carson, Zachary's, Kaydan and Kayge; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey's, Alayna, Sara's, Hadley and Dylan, and Carl III's, Cayson; two sisters and three brothers, Lisa Deible, Michelle (Tom) McCoy, Andrew Stillion, Dave (Teresa) Nesselrode, and John (Alesha) Nesselrode; several nieces and nephews, a step-daughter, Darlene (Terry) Greig; his life-long friend, Dean Stark, and his loving companion, Punkyn.

A Memorial Service will be held Sat., Jan. 28, 2023 at 3 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with his step-daughter, Darlene Greig officiating.  Friends may call one hour before the service from 2-3 p.m. Family and friends are invited to a family dinner after the services at the East Sparta Community Building, 9514 Chestnut Ave. SE, East Sparta, OH 44626.  The family is asking if you can please bring a covered dish and dessert.  Drinks will be provided.
