Carl T. Derheimer,

age 71, of Canton, passed away Sunday afternoon while on vacation in Myrtle Beach.  He was born in Canton, a son of the late Harry and Florence (Beddell) Derheimer, and was a life resident.  He was retired from North Canton Tool Co., after 43 years service, where he was a machinist and foreman.  Carl was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North Canton Hoover Lodge #770, F. & A.M., the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, Hall of Fame Luncheon Club, and the North Industry Sportsman's Club.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.  Carl served in the U. S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.  He also was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Derheimer, on May 3, 2006, and a granddaughter, Brittany Ann Hinderer, on June 7, 1995.  His number one priority was his family, and he is survived by his wife, Sandi K. Derheimer, with whom he celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 1, 2013;  one daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Mike Moutes, of North Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Mandy Derheimer, of Navarre; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Nathan and Brandon Hinderer, Kate and Chad Moutes, and Nicholas and Isabella Derheimer; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Cindy Bille, of Canton, and Barb and Carl Pearson, of Dover; one brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Marsha Derheimer, of Massillon.  Services will be held Sat. at 10:30 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Diana Thompson officiating.  Interment in North Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Sat. 9:30-10:30 a.m. before the service.  Masonic Services will be held Friday at 5:45 p.m. in the funeral home.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
