Brenda C. Schreffler,

Age 58, of Magnolia, passed away Tues., July 30, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  She was born Feb. 25, 1966, in Canton, a daughter of Bill and Sandra (Devine) Kesling.  Brenda was a 1984 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and worked there as a 9th grade English Teacher and the Drama Club Director.  She was loved by all who knew her and put her heart and soul into her work with the drama department at the school. Brenda could always be found singing on her front porch or spending time with her grandbabies. Preceded in death by a brother, William Kesling, and a sister-in-law, Kelly Climes.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Keith Schreffler, with whom she celebrated their 34th Wedding Anniversary on June 16; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rachel (Scotty) Gill, Renee (Zackery) Knoy, and Rebecca Schreffler; one son, Robert Schreffler; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Annette (Mike) Firth, and Lynisa Kesling; one brother, Kevin Kesling; her mother-in-law, Jill Jenkins; and four grandchildren, Oliver, Miles, Piper, and Leon.  Services will be held Sat. at 1 pm in the Magnolia Methodist Church.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends may call Fri. from 5-8 pm in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brenda's memory may be made to the Sandy Valley High School Drama Club, 5130 SR 183 NE, Magnolia, OH  44643.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
