Birdie Pullins

Age 91, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2017.  She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late George and Effie (Potter) Gardiner, and was a life resident of the Canton-Magnolia area.  Birdie was a 1944 graduate of Canton South High School, and retired from TRW in Minerva, after 32 years' service, where she was an assembly worker.   She was a member of Sandy Valley Church of God.  Birdie lived for her son and his family, and is survived by Stanley W. and Tammy Pullins, of Waynesburg, two grandsons and one great-grandson, Stanley, Jr. and Misty Pullins, and their son, Dawson, and Michael and Mandy Pullins; and numerous other family and friends.  A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating.  Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery in Paris Township.  Friends may call Friday 4-6 p.m. before the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions In Birdie's memory may be made to the donor's favorite charity.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
