BETTE JANE EDWARDS, Spent 85 years on this earth and departed July 13th, 2011. She attended a one-room schoolhouse in the country and had a skill for numbers and utilized this skill in various jobs. Bette was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Edwards; her mother, Lucy Schuster; her life partner, Stanley Good; and her nephew, Scott Stewart. She was devoted to her mother, and to Stanley. Bette leaves behind her sister, Nancy Stewart Matin and Nancy's companion, Keith McCord, as well as a great niece, Tiffany Stewart. A memorial service will be conducted Mon at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. Visitors will be embraced one hour before the service on Mon., from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. Donations in Bette's memory can be directed to the Canton Museum of Art, 1001 Market Ave N., Canton, OH 44702, for the purchase of artwork, as a kindness to her artist sister.
