Bertha M. Henline Age 80, of Mineral City, passed away Sat. evening in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. She was born in Mineral City, a daughter of the late Clarence and Estella (Russell) Abel, Sr., and was a life resident. Bertha had been a waitress, did housekeeping, and helped her husband at his service station. She loved bowling, bingo, and spending mornings at Steineck's Bakery with her friends. Bertha helped local organizations by donating her time and food. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence, Jr. and John Abel. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joannie and Jeffery Render, of East Sparta; three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Lucinda Hamilton, of Mineral City, Alan and Cathy Henline, of Zoarville, and Rodney and Jayne Henline, of Newcomerstown; one sister, Deb Shahan, of Canton; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Leroy and Betty Abel, of Bolivar, Wilbert and Kelly Abel, of Dover, and Don Abel, of Mineral City; also 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Terry Passmore officiating. Interment in German Cemetery.
