Bernard "Buster" Neice
Age 82, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday evening in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Canton, a son of the late Ira and Catherine (Corrigan) Neice, and was a Waynesburg resident most of his life. Buster was a 1950 graduate of Waynesburg High School. He was retired from Glazers Local #1162 in Akron. He traveled all over the country making stained glass windows in churches. He also made stained glass windows locally for many people. Buster was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Morges and the Men's Club of the church, the Canton South Knights of Columbus, FOE #2370 in Canton, Magnolia Historical Society, and Sandy Valley American Legion Post #432. He served in the U. S. Navy. Preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia (Meiser) Neice, in 1982, and two brothers, Raymond and James Neice. Survived by his wife, Barbara J. (Rich) Neice, with whom he celebrated their 28th Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 26th; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Wendy Neice, of Waynesburg, and Darrel and Roxanne Neice, of Sherrodsville; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, Shon (Ashley) Neice, and their daughter, Abby, Todd (Leslie) Neice and their daughter, Landry, Shane (Megan) Neice, and their children, Gracie, Rylee, and Jaxon, Tiffany (Kyle) Crallie, and their children, Chaz, Chloe, Christalyn, and Chalysa, Shannon (Cody) Shuss, and their son, Heath, and Shiloh Neice; one brother and sister-in-law, Don and Sandy Neice, of Waynesburg. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Morges with Fr. Anthony Batt and Fr. Victor Cinson as Celebrants. Interment in the church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 5-8m p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
