Beatrice A. "Bea" Farber

Age 81, formerly of Magnolia,OH , passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in Radburne Manor in Charlotte, NC.  She was born in Alliance, OH, a daughter of the late Ralph and Edna (Hull) Richardson, and had been a Magnolia resident since 1961, previously Canton, and Charlotte the last two years.  Bea was a 1950 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, and was retired from The Hoover Co., and then worked 20 years for Sandy Valley Local Schools at East Sparta Elementary School where she was a secretary.  She was a member of Atwood Yacht Club and Magnolia Historical Society.  Preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, William G. Farber, Sr., on Jan. 8, 2009, and 2 brothers and a sister, Chuck, Glen, and Mary Lynn Richardson.  Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Mollie Farber, Jr., of Huntersville, NC; two grandsons, Nathan Farber, a student at Ohio University in Athens, OH, and Andrew Farber, of Huntersville; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Frances Harter, of North Canton, Val Morris and Evelyn and Bob Gray, all of Texas; her sisters-in-law, Jane Weirich, of Hartville, JoAnn and Gerald "Mick" McWilliams, of East Sparta, Janice and Glen Fenton, of Alliance, and Judy Reed, of Louisville; also several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Sat. at 12 Noon in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Andrew Bailey, Minister, officiating.  Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.  Friends may call Sat. 10:30-12 Noon before the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bea's memory may be made to Radburne Manor, 3505 Oriole Place, Charlotte, NC 28269.  The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Radburne Manor for the love and care they gave to Bea during her stay there.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
