Barbara A. Neading

Age 83, of Canton, passed away Friday Oct. 12, 2018.  She was born July 29, 1935 in Canton, a daughter of the late Roy and Mae (Formet) Federman, and was a life resident.  Barbara was a graduate of Lincoln High School.  She was retired from Louisville City Schools, where she was a secretary, and previously worked at Plain Local Schools.  Barbara was a member of Christ The Servant Parish, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Edgefield Volunteer Fire Dept.  She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's birthday parties and sporting events, her card club, her swim group, collecting cook books, and canning.  She is survived by her husband, Chris J. Neading, Jr., with whom she celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 16, 2018; one daughter and three sons, Nancy Neading-Malsky and Kenny, Chris "C.J." (Jeannie) Neading, Mark (Tanya) Neading, and Richard (Joyce) Neading; dear family friend and son, Jack(Donna) Jackson; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, T. J. Malsky, Kennan Malsky, Ryan (fiancée Kristin Thomson) Neading, Tania (Jeremy) Klempner, and their son Aidan, Joy (Michael) Neading-Rucker, and their children, Evelyn and Maxwell, Alison (Dan) Michael, and their sons, Danny and Everett, Brianna Grim, Chris John (Lindsey) Neading, and their children, Leah, Chloe, Carter, and one soon to be born daughter, Andrew (Angela) Neading, and their children, Lily, Cooper, and Lucy, Ann Marie Neading and her daughter, Adrianna;  Also many loving nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Michael Millet officiating.  Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
