Barbara C. Moss Age 98, of Canton, passed away Sunday morning, April 15, 2012, in Astoria Skilled Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Byesville, OH, a daughter of the late William and Mary Jane (James) Stokoe. Barbara was a 1931 graduate of McKinley High School. She was a retired beautician and owned and operated her own shop in North Canton for many years, and then worked at several shops in downtown Canton. Barbara was a member of Church of The Covenant, United Presbyterian, and Canton Chapter #190, Order of Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Arthur L. Moss, on Feb. 16, 1985, a brother and sister, Max Stokoe and Audrey Bumpas. Survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol and Marvin Singhaus and Faye Meola, all of Canton, Sandra and Mike Riley of Uniontown; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. A private service for the family will be held Wed. at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. William Watt officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
