Barbara J. Hoovler

Age 89, of Jackson Township, passed away Wed., Oct. 4, 2017, at Windsor Medical Center.  Barbara was born Dec. 22, 1927 and is the daughter of the late Harold R. and Grace Hoovler.  She is a graduate of Jackson High School and a retired Business Office Manager from A T & T.  Besides her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Nanette, of California, and her brother, Harold, of North Canton.  She is survived by her special friend of 45 years, Cathy Beckley, and sisters Yonda, of North Canton, and Helen, of North Carolina.  Barb is also survived by several nephews and nieces, two of whom are Barb Nicholas of North Canton, and Paula Parr-Mitchell, of Cincinnati.  A Memorial Service will be held at Church of The Lakes, United Methodist on Sat., Nov. 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bryan George officiating.  Cathy and the family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Windsor Medical Center and the staff of Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care Barb received.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barb's memory to Church of The Lakes, United Methodist, 5944 Fulton Dr. NW, Canton, OH 44718.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
