Barbara S. Dews,

Age 74, of Waynesburg, passed away Thur., Dec. 19, 2024.  She was born Mar. 4, 1950, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Hollie and Eloise (Aloff) Davis.  Barbara was a 1968 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and was a member of the Fellowship of the Little Country Church.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Dews, three sisters, and three brothers.  Survived by her husband, Sterling Dews, with whom she celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 12th; one son and daughter-in-law, Sterling "Michael" (Nicole) Dews; two grandsons, Nicholas and Logan Dews; one granddaughter, Ava Miller; one great grandson, Wesley Dews; and one great granddaughter, Willow Chaney.  Services will be held Fri. at 1 pm in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Interment in Liberty Cemetery in Paris Twp.  Friends may call Fri., two hours before the service, from 11am – 1 pm, in the funeral home.  Contributions in Barbara's name may be made to: Little Country Church, 7886 Ravenna Ave. SE, Elson St SE, Waynesburg, OH 44688.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
