Barbara Cynthia Crowe

age 84, passed away Dec. 10, 2022 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born in Canton, Ohio on Mar. 14, 1938, daughter of the late Adam and Caroline (Bick) Sedlock. She attended Canton South High School and Kent State University, obtaining a Master's Degree in Education. A long-time resident of Stark County, she began her teaching career at Canton Local Schools. She then taught elementary and junior high for many years at Sandy Valley Local Schools where they made East Sparta their home. Upon retirement, she and her late husband Gary spent their time between Jamestown, New York and Estero, Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Gary S. Crowe, brother Gerald T. Sedlock, daughter Cathryn and son Daniel Crowe. She is survived by a son, Douglas Crowe and a grandson, Owen Crowe, both of Baltimore, MD and sister-in-law Marilyn Crowe Jarrell of Mansfield, Ohio.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 pm in the  Finefock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia  There will be no service.

Following cremation, both she and her late husband Gary's remains will be privately interred with their children in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
