Barb E. Sickafoose

Age 76,

of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2016.  She was born in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Kovacik) Tokos, grew up in Malvern, and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1959.  Barb was a 1958 graduate of Malvern High School.  She had cleaned at Wendell Ford and many other homes and businesses for many years.  She also babysat and looked after the neighborhood children, and became everybody's "Mom" in Waynesburg.  She also assisted her husband at his Waynesburg Sohio Station by keeping the books.  Barb was a member of First Christian Church in Malvern, and the Auxiliary of the Waynesburg Volunteer Fire Dept.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ray C. Sickafoose, on Nov. 7, 2014, a sister and brother, Julie Roush and Bill Tokos.  She is survived by her daughter, Debra Sickafoose, of Waynesburg; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Sickafoose, of Waynesburg, and Todd and Alison Sickafoose, of East Sparta; three grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Alyssa and Tori Sickafoose, and Giovana Cline; one sister, Dolores Ramey, of Louisville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Marcella Tokos, and Joseph and Gail Tolos, Jr., all of Malvern; and two sisters-in-law, Doris Krider, of Mapleton, and Mona Tokos, of Malvern.  Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Kenny Thomas officiating.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
