Arthur B. Crilley, Jr.

Age 87, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016.  He was born in Mineral City, a son of the late Arthur B. and Esther (Nelson) Crilley, Sr., resided in the Dover-Bolivar area most of his life, but also several years in Corpus Christi, TX and Jacksonville, AR.  Art was a 1945 graduate of Mineral City High School.  He retired in 1976 from Republic Steel Corp., after 31 years service, where he was a machinist.  Following his retirement, he and Florence managed various apartment properties.  He was a member of Dover Church of Christ.  They enjoyed taking numerous vacations.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Florence A. Crilley, on April 1, 2012, and a step-son, Jerry Bergquist.  Survived by five granddaughters and two grandsons, Heather (Brian) Smith, Vance (Maudie) Wiles, Jason (Jessica) Bergquist, Sarah, Jackie, and Leslie Bergquist, and Amy (Michael) Hallett, and 12 great-grandchildren; also his daughter-in-law, Helen Bergquist.  Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Randy Chapman officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.  Friends may call Sunday 2-4 p.m.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
