Arlene F. (Rex) White

Age 82 of Dover, passed away Wed. Nov. 28, 2018.  She was born Aug. 26, 1936 in Dover, a daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Swonger) Mann, and had resided in East Sparta almost thirty years until returning to Dover.  Arlene was a 1959 graduate of Dover High School.  She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William Rex, two brothers and two sisters, Howard, Stanley, and Hilda Mann, and Doris Littleton.  She is survived by her husband, Donald L. White, two daughters and sons-in-law, Trudy and David Tidwell, and Shelley and James Hockenberry; step-children, Connie (Robert) Benner, Jeffrey (Sherry) White, Scott (Mary Kay) White, and Benjamin White; one sister, Clara Caddell, two brothers Harry (Norma) Mann, and John (Judy) Mann; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Mann; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  There will be a private viewing followed by a graveside service which will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in East Sparta Cemetery.
