Anthony M. Vissoc

Age 66, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017.  He was born July 25, 1951 in Canton, a son of the late George and Mildred (Tandrich) Vissoc, and was a Waynesburg resident most of his life.  Tony was a 1969 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and was a retired truck driver.  He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and served on the Waynesburg Volunteer Fire Dept.  Tony is survived by his wife, Lisa E. Vissoc, with whom he celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary on May 9th; two daughters, Ashley (Randy) Metz, and their children, Peyton, Paige, and Preston, and Antoinette (Corey) Smalley, and their daughters, Abigail and Charlee; one son, Sgt. Anthony Vissoc, serving with the U. S. Marine Corps; two sisters, Barb Brown and Jean Kinback, and one brother, George F. Vissoc.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery at a later date.  Friends may call Thursday before the Mass at the church from 12-2 p.m.  A Last Alarm Service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tony's memory to his family, PO Box 395, Waynesburg, OH 44688.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
