ANNE S. CROWL,

Age 83, of Canton, passed away Fri., Aug. 26, 2022.  She was born Dec. 28, 1938, in New York City, a daughter of the late Allan and Margaret (McNown) Shilts.  Anne graduated from in 1961 Mount Union College with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and retired in 2001 from Canton City Schools as a teacher.  She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.  Preceded in death by her husband, H. Michael Crowl on Dec. 13, 2018, and her sister, Catherine Jasperson.  Survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Catherine Crowl, and Kimberley Crowl and Andrew Kaletta; one sister and brother-in-law, Betsy (Alan) Woodward; and one brother and sister-in-law, John (Nan) Shilts.

A Memorial Service will be held Sat., Oct. 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Christ Presbyterian Church with Pastor Ben George officiating.  Friends may call from 12-1:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.  Following cremation her ashes will be scattered in the Wilderness Center.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anne's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 420 Market Ave. S., Canton, OH 44702, Christ Presbyterian Church, 530 W.
