Anne Holly Bartlett Age 77, of Magnolia, passed away suddenly Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, in Aultman Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1933 in Canton, a daughter of the late James Bartlett and Vera Brothers Bartlett, and had been a Magnolia resident for 30 years. Anne was a graduate of University High School in Champagne-Urbana, IL, and also a graduate of the University of Illinois. She enjoyed writing poetry and was an outstanding artist. Anne loved her animals and the natural world around her. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Nancy Bartlett, of Magnolia; two sisters, Susan Bartlett, of Illinois, and Jane Taylor (Jim Maxwell) of Virginia; a niece and her husband, Maria and Curtis Chi, and their son, Victor, of North Carolina; and many cousins. Cremation has taken place, and there will be calling hours Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
