Anna Toma

Age 96, of Canton, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.  She was born November 3, 1927 in Canton, a daughter of the late Vasile and Suzanna (Curian) Toma, and was a life resident.  Anna was a 1945 graduate of Timken Vocational High School.  Anna had been employed by Thurin's and R. & J. Furniture Stores as head seamstress in the drapery department.  She had been a member of St. George's Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, George Toma, Charles "Chick" Toma, Caroline Buzille, and Florence Paul.  Anne is survived by her sister, Mary "Chicka" Calendine, and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
