Anna Fay Poole,

Age 89, of Dellroy, passed away peacefully Tues., Dec. 1, 2020.  Born July 16, 1931, in Dellroy.  Preceded in death by her loving parents, Harvey E. McCartney and Erma E. (Snively) McCartney, her beloved husband, Floyd Poole, in 1972 and brothers and sisters.  Survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Charlene (Richard) Mutton, Jacalyn (Ronnie) Miller, Shirley Poole, and Linda (Bruce) Maney; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary Poole, Randy (Renee) Poole, and David (Judy) Poole; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was loved by all her family and friends; her family meant everything to her.  Anna loved to be with her family, that was her happiest time.  She loved to sew, quilt, paint ceramics and other crafty things.  Everyone will remember her Christmas cookies and how she loved to bake.  Anna was a good example to all and she would do anything for everyone.  If she touched your life in some way, it was friends forever.  Anna enjoyed her little bait store, Pooles Bait & Tackle, and loved meeting and talking to all her customers.  She loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; she would have done anything for us, no matter what.  YOU WILL BE MISSED WITH LOVE!  A Graveside Service will be held in the Chapel of Sunset Hills Burial Park on Tues., Dec. 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Damon Spurgeon officiating.  Face coverings and social distancing will be required.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
