Anna A. Dalton
Age 88, of Waynesburg, passed away Wed., Oct. 12, 2011, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Meadville, PA, a daughter of the late Samuel and Audrey (Cisco) Rago, and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1948. She was a 1940 graduate of Meadville High School. Anna assisted her husband as Office Manager of Dalton Construction. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and a former member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir which she directed at various times. Preceded in death by two grandsons and a granddaughter, Michael Mason, Thomas Berns, and Audrey Richards, a great-grandson, Ben Moag, and three brothers, Charles, Frank, and Walter Rago. Survived by her husband, Charles W. Dalton, Sr., with whom she celebrated their 69th Wedding Anniversary on July 31st; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Dale Mason, of Malvern, Eleanor Moag and her companion, Brent Starkey, of Waynesburg, and Tammy and Terry Wilson, of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Sue Dalton, Jr., of Carrollton, and Neil and Debbie Dalton, of Canton; a sister-in-law, Madeline Dalton, of Waynesburg; a brother-in-law, Roger Cosgrave, of Waynesburg; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern.
