Ann T. Winters

Age 85, of East Sparta, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2015.  She was born in Gates, PA, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Skolnik) Holva, and had been an East Sparta resident 63 years, previously Canton.  Ann was a 1948 graduate of German Township High School near her home.  She had been a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. Ann was an avid bowler, a fantastic gardener, and a terrific seamstress.  She loved playing cards and dominos.  Survived by her husband, Ray A. Winters, with whom she celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on May 3rd; three sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Winters, of San Leandro, CA, Stan and Wendy Winters, of Magnolia, and Dennis and Mercedes Winters, of Florence, AL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Isaiah (Charity) Winters, and their children, Alison and Gracyn, Amy Winters, Lauren (Tom) McCutcheon and their son, Thomas, and Austin Winters; one brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Rose Holva, of Eastlake, OH.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr.
