Obituary

Ann-Sofi Rogler,

age 85, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 in Canton OH.  Ann-Sofi was born on April 27, 1940, in Stockholm, Sweden. She grew up in Sweden, where she completed high school before beginning a life marked by adventure, service, and a deep love for people and cultures. Following her graduation, she traveled to Turkey, where she worked for a travel agency and with the Swedish Consulate. Gifted with an extraordinary ability to connect across cultures, Ann Sofi spoke five languages and had a lifelong love of travel.

It was through her many travels that Ann-Sofi met the love of her life, Charles "Charlie" Rogler, on a flight to Bogotá, Colombia. They were married in 1965, and moved with Charlie to the United States, where she spent her time raising a family and traveling between their home in Canton OH and the Bitterroot Valley in MT at their fly-fishing ranch. After 1989 She made Canton her home for the remainder of her life.

Ann-Sofi was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord immensely and cherished her Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church family. Her faith was woven into all that she did, especially through her passion for knitting. She lovingly prayed over each blanket, scarf, socks or hat she created, and she will be remembered for the warmth, comfort, and joy that flowed from her hands and her heart.

She is predeceased by her Parents, her sister Ulla and brother Bjorn. She is survived by a sister, Eva and Ann-Sofi's daughters, Ylva (David) Rogler-Spencer and Maryann Brown (Kenny); 4 grandchildren, Lauren Latimer, Jordan McCoin, Kelsey (Ryan) Briggs), Margaux Spencer; and six great-grandchildren: Braiden Michael Latimer, Brodie James Latimer, Arenna Dawn McCoin, Raykyn Ann McCoin, Leon Weston McCoin and Charles Easton McCoin. Ann- Sofi's legacy of love, faith, and kindness lives on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.
