Alvin F.  Nuske

Age 84, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022.  He was born July 8, 1937 in Canton, a son of the late Fred and Lucy (Hemmerling) Nuske, and was a life resident.  He was a 1955 graduate of Timken High School and honorably served in the U. S. Army.  Al retired in 2002 from Republic Engineered Steel where he was an electrical repairman.  He was a very active life member of First Lutheran Church where he was an usher and helped with the soup kitchen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Alan-Kirsch Nuske, on Sept. 24, 2021.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Nuske, with whom he would have celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 5th this year, one daughter, Diane Nuske, two granddaughters, Kayla and Alyssa Westfall, and a brother, Gary (Pat) Nuske.

A Memorial Service will be held Mon. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Diana Thompson officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  Inurnment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
