Alma R. Nicholson Age 90, who resided with her daughter in New Philadelphia, passed away Sunday evening in Union Hospital. She was born in Boone, NC, a daughter of the late Julius and Minnie (Davis) Davis, resided in Magnolia from 1975-91, and in New Philadelphia the past 19 years. Alma was a member of the Dover Baptist Temple. Preceded in death by her husband, Willard Nicholson, on July 4, 1985. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Richard Wells, of New Philadelphia; her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Judy Nicholson, of Owensboro, KY; six granddaughters and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Christopher Rhodes officiating. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.
