ALLEN D. KLING,
Age 75, of Canton, passed away Thur., June 12, 2014 in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton, a son of the late Dellmore and Bernadine (Campbell) Kling, he had been a life resident of Canton. Allen was a 1957 graduate of McKinley High School and retired from the Perry Twp. Police Dept. as an Investigator. He was an avid Citizens Band radio operator and went by the handle "The Colonel." Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Kling, in 2006. Survived by one daughter, Tami Lynne Kling, of Goshen, IN; two sons, Mark Kling, of Canton, and David Kling, and his fiancée, Angela Lake, of Richville, Perry Twp.; four grandsons, Matthew Jon, William Joseph Kling, Austin Carl Kling, and Cody Allen Kling; and four brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Carolyn Kling, of Columbus, NC, Robert and Linda Kling, of Canton, David and Bonnie Kling, of Massillon, and Dale and Rosemarie Kling, of Jackson Twp. Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tues. from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Allen's memory may be made to: American Cancer Society, P.O.
