Alfred L. Rohr

Age 84, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022.  He was born April 11, 1937 in Massillon, a son of the late Arnold and Adeline (Haubert) Rohr, and was a life resident.  Al was a 1955 graduate of Massillon Washington High School, and retired in 2001 from Morton Salt Co., after almost 30 years' service, where he was a rover operator.  Al was a member of Northwest Church of Christ, and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and feeding birds.  He also liked to have different animals around his home.  Al honorably served in the U. S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Rohr, with whom he celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on May 11th, three daughters and one son, Loretta Stuckey, Melissa (Russell) Nourse, Holly (Kurt) Burner, and Greg (Jackie) Rohr, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, three sisters and one brother, Bernice Notch, Sarah Pratt, Dorothy Hunt, and Ralph Rohr.

Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Lance Lindenberger officiating.  Friends may call Monday 10-11 a.m. before the service.  Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Military Honors.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
