Obituary

Alexander J. Oryszak Age 77, of Mineral City, passed away Wed. evening. He was born in Rochester, NY, a son of the late Konstanty and Katherine (Rudy) Oryszak, and resided in the Mineral City-East Sparta area most of his life. He was a graduate of Ben Franklin High School in Rochester. Alex had been a carpenter most of his life. He was a member of the Sandy Valley Eagles and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife, Velma L. (Abel) Oryszak, on Feb. 6, 2000. Survived by his companion, Debbie Klingensmith; three daughters and a son-in-law, Cathy Oryszak and Tim Ley, of Mineral City, Stephanie Oryszak and her fiance, Jacob, of Cleveland, and Amy and Allen Dunn, of New Cumberland; two sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Patti Oryszak, and Joseph and Lamia Oryszak, all of Canton; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one soon to be born great-grandson; a brother-in-law and his wife, Frank and Rebecca Abel, of Canton. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013, from 4-6 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alex's memory may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
