Samuel Trbovich
Age 91 of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday August 30, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept. 25, 1926 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Daniel and Mildred (Perich) Trbovich, and was a life resident. Sam was a 1944 graduate of Waynesburg High School. He was a retired self-employed farmer, and had also worked at The Timken Co., Diebold Inc., and Valley Chevrolet in Waynesburg earlier in life. Sam was of Serbian Orthodox Faith and had served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, George, Nick and Oscar Trbovich, and Anne Marino. Sam is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Maxwell, Helen Hahn, and Millie Sickafoose; also numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr. Aleksa Pavichevich officiating. Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
