Raymond E. Moore

Age 87, of Canton, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018.  He was born May 2, 1930 in Canton, a son of the late George and Arreba (Hoy) Moore, and was a life resident.  Ray was a 1948 graduate of Timken High School.  He had been a tool designer for Air Craft Braking Systems, and also had worked at Republic Steel Corp.  He was a lover of cars and restored antique Fords.  Ray was a life-long member of the Antique Automobile Club of
America, and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a special aunt, Eula Moore, and a brother, Merlin Moore.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia Moore; a daughter and son, Barbara Heidy and her fiancé, Bruce Ady, and Donald (Linda) Moore; a daughter-in-law, Darlie Moore; step-children, Doug, Cindy, Jeff, and Matt;  grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Moore, Mike Salewsky, and Frank Heidy, and great-grandchildren, Aubree, Carter, and Skyler; one brother, Tom (Chris) Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Wed. at 2 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Mark A. Williams officiating.  Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service on Wed. from 1-2 p.m.  The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Meadow Wind Care Center and Crossroads Hospice for the love and care they gave to Ray.  Condolences may be sent to:
