Mary Neumeyer

MARY F. NEUMEYER,

Age 89, of North Canton, passed away Tues., Sept. 25, 2018.  Born in Monessen, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Florence (McLane) Horton, she was raised in Akron and lived most of her life in the Canton and North Canton area.  Mary retired from K&K Insurance Agency and was a member of Greentown United Methodist Church, the Greentown Garden Club, Over 60's Club and the United Airlines Retirement Club.  Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Neumeyer on Nov. 15, 2004 and her grandson, Gregory Barress.  Survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Paula and Jud Barress, Sue and Mark Bell, and Laura Neumeyer; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Nelly Neumeyer; one sister Helen “Jan” Anderson;  grandchildren Christopher (Melanie) Barress, Julie Bell McKelley, Brandy Powell Barress, Jennifer Barress Grisez (Brent Bruckner), Donny Bell, Philip Bell, Tommy Neumeyer, Michelle Neumeyer, Dana (DJ) Buonanducci and Carla Gonzalez; and nine great grandchildren.  A Memorial Service will be held Sun. at 3 p.m. at Greentown United Methodist Church with Pastor Carolyn Nichols and Rev. David Ross officiating.  Friends may call Sun. from 1-3 p.m. at the church.  The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to Greentown United Methodist Church, 3088 State St NW, Greentown, OH 44630.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
