JOSEPH A. FRASCONE,
Age 80, of Magnolia, passed away Thur., June 21, 2018. Born in Canton, a son of the late Carmen and Anna (Spagnola) Frascone, he had been a beloved resident of Magnolia since 1966. He was a 1957 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Timken Co. in 1997 after 39 years service as a grinder. Joseph was a member of New Cumberland United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with family, truck and tractor pulls, cars, country and gospel music, getting coffee and donuts with friends, and peach pie. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar, the neighbors in Ferndale Allotment and the staff at the Crossroads BellStore for the friendship and special attention they showed to Joseph. Preceded in death by his grandson, Joey Watts. Survived by his wife, Norma Frascone, with whom he celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 2nd; one daughter, Trina Watts; one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Anna Frascone; one sister, Jane Callicoat; one brother and sister-in –law, Ronald and Geralyn Frascone; and three grandchildren, Jayson Watts, and Ayden and Gavin Frascone. Services will be held Tues. at 2 p.m. in New Cumberland United Methodist Church with Pastor Jon Campbell officiating. Interment in New Cumberland Cemetery. Friends may call Tues. from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. in the church. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.
