David W. Binion
Age 24, of Canton, passed away Sunday Oct. 21, 2018 from injuries sustained in an auto accident, and went to Heaven to see Pops, his grandfather David Chaney. David was born Nov. 16, 1993 in Canton and was a life resident. He was a 2012 graduate of McKinley High School, and attended Early College and received an Associates Degree. David was an EMT Medic for Life-Care in Akron. He loved music and playing guitar, and keyboard, hiking at Atwood Lake with his brother, traveling and visiting the Hawaiian Islands, arguing about religion, and he loved animals. He also had been self-studying Russian and Chinese. David was good natured, giving to others, would help friends move, and just enjoyed life to the fullest. David is survived by his parents, Christina and Albert Chaney-Karolyi, and his father Roger Binion; all his siblings, best friend and brother, Nathan Binion, Damien Kolek and his children, Mackenzie, Dominic, and Willow, who loved to play guitar with and listen to David play, Garret Payne and Brandon Payne, Chase Swayne, twins Tammy Binion and Russell Binion, Sherri Binion, and Roger Binion II; grandparents, Margaret Chaney and Albert Karolyi, Sr., aunts, Melissa (Steve) Hawk and Diana Chaney, and cousins, Steven and Levi Hawk. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Celebrant Gary Smith officiating. Friends may call Thursday two hours before the service at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. A Last Alarm Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. before the service.
