Janie and I were best friends, Pine Street neighbors and classmates from 6th grade until we graduated from Millersburg High School in 1951. Maybe her children heard about our trips to Lykens and Williamstown for dancing. We had so much fun during our school days and after. She will be remembered as a sweet kind person. My sympathy goes out to her whole family.

Janie was a wonderful co-worker and friend and Christian. She and I were both LPNs and were not scheduled on the same days very often in the unit at WCH. I had worked in the heart unit and she had worked in ICU before we had the combined Critical Care Unit. She was more comfortable with surgery patients and I was more comfortable with the heart patients. A few of us that had worked together had gotten together and went out to eat breakfast together. They knew my husband, because he had been a patient in the unit several times. I would take him along to the breakfasts. He was always welcomed and joined in on some of the conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Carol, Colleen and Bryan, our deepest sympathies to you on the loss of your mom, I will always remember her kindness and gentle spirit. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend to our family (the Arnold's) for many years and will be missed.
