ZEB V. MALAVITE,
Age 97, of Bolivar, passed away Thur. Jan. 25, 2018. Born a son of the late Harry and Georgia (Sardis) Malavite, he had been a life resident of East Sparta. Zeb was a life-long employee of Malavite Excavating, where he was a bulldozer operator. He was a member of Caldwell Lodge #330, F. & A. M., Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, all York Rite Bodies, and Tadmor Temple. Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Natalie Malavite, one sister, Helen Malavite, and five brothers, Harry, Nick, Michael, Thomas, and Gust. Survived by his wife, Marguerite Malavite, with whom he celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 29th; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry and Elaine Malavite, and Terry Malavite; two grandchildren, Taryn Malavite and Zachary Zeb Malavite; two great grandchildren, Lilah and Aiden; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Robert Carrick; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar for the loving care and special attention they showed to Zeb. Services will be held Tues. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey L. Shultz officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
