Age 75, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017. He was born May 9, 1942 in Canton, a son of the late Lorn and Gene (Keyes) Stevenson, and was a life resident. Jimmy was a 1960 graduate of McKinley High School. He had owned and operated Stevenson’s Building and Development for a number of years, and previously had worked at Perry Rubber as a salesman, was a partner in Quonset Hut, and owner of Strange Daze Music. Jimmy was a terrific golfer and was good enough to consider going to the PGA Golf School. He was an avid pilot and had owned three airplanes, and loved his Jaguars. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Stevenson, on Sept. 19, 2004. He is survived by his loving companion, Jeannine, his son Rick Stevenson, granddaughter Nicole, and brother Tedder (Dodi) Stevenson.
