James “Jack” Longo
Age 92, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. He was born in Magnolia, a son of the late Mike and Mary (Russo) Longo, Sr., and was a life resident of Waynesburg, and a graduate of Waynesburg High School. Jack retired in 1986 from Canton Tool & Mfg. Co. after 37 years service, where he was a machinist and welder. Since 1969 he and Rich Mutigli have operated Jack & Rich’s French Fries at many area fairs and festivals. He was an avid golfer and bowler, but most of all he loved his girls. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Longo, on Nov. 24, 1982, a sister, Rose Medved, an infant sister, Theresa, four brothers, Frank, Pat, Louis, and Carmen Longo, and a grandson, Morgan Radcliff. He is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Janie and Jerry Mann, of Magnolia, Debi and Rod Radcliff, of Woodstock, GA, Diane and Greg Reed, of Waynesburg, Jackie and Darrell Denbow, of Dover, and Kathy Sickafoose, of Waynesburg, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Angie Davis, and Katie and Rich Mutigli, all of Waynesburg, and Mike and Marsha Longo, Jr., of The Villages, FL. Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr. Joseph Zamary officiating. Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery with Military Honors.
