Age 82, of Strasburg, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017. She was born July 7, 1934 in New Philadelphia, a daughter of the late John and Minnie (Peacock) Moran and was a life resident of the Dover/New Philadelphia area. Dorotha retired in 1999 from Union Hospital, after 16 years service, where she was a housekeeper. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, James E. Lang, on May 7, 1987, a son, David Rosenberry, on Sept. 15, 2005, six brothers and five sisters, Bob, Clyde, Jim, John, Charley, and Dan Moran, Laura Redman, Leona Snyder, Genevieve Smith, Betty Wilson, and Delena Burton. She is survived by one son, John “Randy” Rosenberry, and one daughter, Bertha (John) Burns; a daughter-in-law, Laurie (Rosenberry) Knapp; one brother George Moran; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, Heather Rosenberry, Jennifer (Ramon) Heredia, and their children, Zulemar, Angelina, Madison, and Brooklyn, Jessica (Ryan) Young and children, Dylan, Bella, and Aurora, Jaclyn (Jerrod) Cox, and their son, Sylar, Jodie (Casey) Hay, and children, Laker and Oakley Ann, Samantha Burns and children, Makayla and Lucas, Julie (Kyle) Amos; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bishop Paul Robb officiating, the husband of Dorotha’s best friend, Lillian.
