Age 83, of Magnolia, passed away Wed., Nov. 30, 2016. She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothea (Lerch) Zink, and had been a Magnolia resident since 1955. Louise was a 1951 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She retired May 31, 1996 from Carmel Publishing Co. where she was a secretary, and previously worked nine years at Whitacre Greer Fireproofing Co., also as a secretary. Louise was a member of St. James Catholic Church, where she was choir director many years, and the St. James W.O.W. Group. She also was a member of the Sweet Adelines, City of Flags Chapter, for 39 years, P.E.R.I., and had served as Clerk for the Village of Magnolia for many years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Costello, on Dec. 2, 1977, a sister, Rose Marie Travis, and twin granddaughters, Blaire and Becca Costello. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Jim Hough, Christine and Mike Tozzi, and Nancy and Mark Sommer, all of Magnolia; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William and Cheryl Costello of Canton, and Timothy Costello and his fiancée, Jeannette, of Magnolia; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Barbara Resler, of Canton, and Florence and Eldred Grass, of Mesa, AZ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
